The lines and detail of this dress are very similar to the work that Dior was doing during this time period and it immediately made me think of the pink Dior set that I have ion the shoo with a similar front bow detailing

It is cut in an almost military great coat style with a far more flared out bottom skirting to it then a normal coat would have

The top is gathered in towards the neckline with more elastic there and then it blouses and skims over the bodice

The cotton mix fabric allows it to hold a fuller shape and that is how I shot it rather then the sleeker look it was worn with on the runway
